Six individuals have been uprooted from their Outer Sunset house by a two-caution fire Sunday evening, the San Francisco Fire Department said.

The fire, at 1270 48th Ave., was accounted for at 2:46 p.m. Sunday. One individual inside the house was assessed by paramedics yet chose not to go the medical clinic, firemen said. The fire was announced leveled out by 4:15 p.m.

The American Red Cross was brought in to help the uprooted inhabitants.

At nearly a similar time, San Francisco firemen were called to another structure fire just a street or two away in the Outer Sunset, at 1254 La Playa St. That blast was put out inside around 20 minutes; there were no wounds.

The two flames stayed under scrutiny Sunday evening.

The occurrence sent dark smoke surging into the sky over Golden Gate Park.

Administrator Gordon Mar, who speaks to the Sunset District, tweeted about the fire.

"If you don't mind evade the zone and keep streets clear for crisis vehicles," Mar said.
